Help pick! Matte Gun Blue or Glossy Mag Blue RPF1s?

Planning to get 17x9 (still not sure +35 or +45) RPF1s with custom powder coating.

Cant decide if I want Matte Gunmetal Blue like on the new TE37 Ultra or Glossy Magnesium Blue.

I was originally set on mag blue since the gun blue seen on the Gramlights 57DRs were too grey for my liking, but then I saw the TE37 Ultras and wow I love that shade of blue.

Some examples (pics from RavSpec site):

Gunblue TE37 Ultra:

Magblue TE37:

Again, I'd be getting RPF1s custom powder coated in these colors. Also gonna get the outermost lip machined. Considered just buying TE37s for a while but the cost is just not worth it. Plus, I cant get TE37s in the exact size and color combos I want anyway.

What's the color of your car? Can't really know which one to pick if we don't know what you're pairing it with

Mag blue if no polished lip.
Gun blue if polished lip.
I wouldn't polish them. There isn't much lip to begin with. And then you run into the problem of clear coat? powdered clear? and then the masking and trying to keep the lines perfect? Too much work/risk/money for my taste.

Hmm, well the polished lip is just gonna be done via CNC machine by the shop that I'm getting the wheels from, so there shouldnt be any issue with the lines staying perfect. Costs me $200 to get it done for all four if I remember correctly. I imagine they would take care of the clear coat and everything for me. Will have to check with them, but I basically want that entire first "step" of the outer rim to be polished. So that flat surface too, not just the tiny edge.

I'd say the Matte blue. I wouldn't want to have a bright wheel color draw my eye more to the wheels and not the car body itself.

To be clear, I'd want the area thats circled to be machined, so only the outer facing surface of that top lip:

Still dont think that'd be a good idea?

Haha go for it. After some opinions from my gf (whose opnions matter the most ofc >_>), I might actually be going with a different color. But I'm most likely gonna do matte + polished rim.
