@zmz0305, are you the white BRZ with the stickers? I'm the guy with the White BRZ and the grey Gram Lights!

If you are going to to be at Parkland Autocross this weekend, I'll check out the noise for you there. No guarantees that I'll be coming as I have to study for finals, but if I do show up at autocross, just find me and I'll happily check out the problem.

Every now & then my FRS made that same whistling sound when my foot would be on the throttle going above 75mph. I always thought it was the same fuel lines that made the cricket sounds since the whistle only comes on when im in on the throttle

Are you a student at UIUC too? I am the white BRZ but not that one with stickers.

I am afraid I will need to study for final too. Do you want to exchange contact information? I will have my last final on 13th and will be completely free on 15th maybe we can hangout.

Yeah, I was having that on highway only before, but now it happens while in idle that's why I am a bit worried.

Yeah I'm a student too. I'll be graduating though, so I'm afraid I'll be gone before then. I suggest joining the Illini Automotive Club. They meet every Tuesday at 7pm and you'll find plenty of helpful car guys there! I don't think they have any more meetings this semester, but if you join the Facebook page, you'll get updates about events.

Damn, I should know you earlier. I saw the page, is that white brz on front banner yours? Looks awesome!

And when are you leaving? I think maybe we can still hang out for once before you graduate?

I'll be leaving right after my last final, so unfortunately I probably won't be able to meet up. However, I live in Chicago, so I'll be coming down occasionally next semester to see what's what, so we can definitely meet then!

I can not hear it in the video but these cars make more sounds than any car I have ever owned. Just think of the sound as the unique nature of the BRZ/FRS and don't let it bother you!

I can hear it in the video when I used my good earphones. On an older car I would say vacuum leak but not so sure it is. I have never heard it on mine.

I get the same noise, it's like an electrical whirl/whistle while coasting on the freeway and lightly on the throttle?

I would check my intake thoroughly. Check the filter for any damage or obstructions. Make sure all the connections are tight.

I hear it, sounds like a faint white noise whistle.

Very unlikely,but worth checking maybe a small exhaust leak. Check at the gasket seals

To be sure, my professional opinion, buy an intake and exhaust. You know, to be thorogh and all.
