Supercharged AND Nitrous? You cray.
We are trying some neat stuff with the Top Tuner FR-S simply because.. we want to win.
ECUTek has allowed fantastic control of the engine with the supercharger and with map switching to enable an alternative mode with different fueling and ignition timing for the nitrous. Due to the tight timeline of the team, and due to the fact that both I, along with CanJam (who built the car) were going to be at Shannonville racing we decided to tune the car at the track prior to the evening lapping day. Only a Dynapack can do this: On the supercharger alone the car is running 1:59 at Shannonville Long track on street tires. That is a pretty fast r-compound street car time, so we are hoping to be fairly competitive next week in Vancouver for the Tuner Challenge competition. The wheels are not yet fitted to the body - so please no comments about that. Stay tuned guys! (get it?) |

Exactly my point. Being 3 seconds off a Z06 (Chris is a good driver, too) that is on R-Compounds, in a car with basically half the power on street tires - is pretty good!

liking the green. you guys will destroy the competition with the new setup + because race car driver.
not much details. It's supercharged with nitrous thrown in tuned on ECUTEK. for those who are confused this was the red carbon wrapped FR-S at the auto show. It turned into the incredible hulk. |
