Wheel/tire width is going to effect steering feel far more than what suspension you are sitting on. I have only met one twin on air. He said it drove fine but he never ran his car slammed. Actually met him at the track.

Start at mid damping settings and get an alignment. Airlift dampers are fine and the car can drive well with them.

if the car can still move, i don't see why not. but seems ill-advised for road debris like termites, worms, or leaves.
