Did you end up running against some of the same people from race to race in the MFG cup? Or was it a totally random mix from a large pool?

One of my favorite things about GT6 quick match and then also the GT Sport beta was how the low total number of people participating regularly meant frequently running against familiar faces. Lots of healthy competition.

Or reverse tracks. Nothing sours a GT session like being funneled into a Tokyo city track, or worse, a reverse one!

MFG cup it was mostly the same people. Most everyone raced really well even in B.

Took the time to finish up the Super Licenses. Aside from the snow and Tokyo tests, I actually enjoyed them.

Whoever at Polyphony that decided to create a weekly race with an LFA on SH tires, at Fuji, deserves a punch on the throat.

Tokyo is the database error of GT7.

lol, I haven't done that race (since I saw Fuji, I didn't even bother). But I don't think the LFA is that bad on SH tires compared to like a Corvette or a Viper.

I don't like Tokyo when it comes to time trials, but I don't mind doing races on it (cuz I know I can take it a little easier and not have to go all out and risk tapping the walls).

Driving the LFA on SH tires (or whatever they were called) is oddly one of my fondest memories from GT5. It's still fun in GT7 but probably not in my top 10 most fun cars to drive.

Have they done actual sport mode races on Tokyo tracks in GT7? I remember the first time they did them in GT Sport it was 100% catastrophe. More pinball than anything. It's why ghosting was created basically lol

I think they've done the outer loop for a race A, and one of the other layouts for C before. It doesn't come up often.

Bought PS Portal & able to play GT7 more... what kind of crazy mind thought it's a great idea to swap +1,000hp into GR86!

I love it! lmfao

1st round of MFG cup is today. I am hopping on. B, so GT2 again. Bathurst 14 laps GT3. Running Porsche this series.

Edit: whoops, rd 3, I haven’t hardly played in a month.

Also whoops, saw there was no pit stop required, didn’t see that you are required to run both tires. Quailed 5th, got to 1st with 6 to go and pulled away, 1 min penalty. Easily should have still won if I pitted Demoted to 5th, still worth 94 pts in the lobby I was in which isn’t bad.

I actually liked the Supra GT500 TT. Gave it a few laps (just to get the daily ticket). Suuuuuper close to the current gold, and judging from how much time I lose and gain on my best lap ghost, I think I can get gold if I give it another go next week.

I can't quite master this track yet. I suspect the initial turns are killing me. Kind of salty my time got demoted to Silver at Spa with the Alpha Romeo.
