Best Water Meth Kit For FI For The Twins ??

As the title says trying to figure out which is the best kit for our cars .

I have a Sprintex Sc on my 86 and do not have access to e85 and have been looking at water meth kits and like the look of the ptuning unit the most so far as it is made for the twins.
I know that it's only for LHD atm but hopefully that will change in the not to distant future if the RHD battery tray is a mirror image of the LHD tray.
http://www.ptuning.com/subdir/search...=PTP-ENG-90055

Others I have looked at are .. http://www.coolingmist.com/pagedispl...re_key=systemx

http://www.aemelectronics.com/produc...soline-engines

and ... http://www.alcohol-injection.com/en/

Any other suggestions based on experience would be appreciated and has any one got a ptuning kit fitted to their car that can give first hand feedback ?

I went a different route and tuned my car with the standalone Hydra ECU from Element Tuning, and used the Hydramist meth system they sell that is integrated with the Hydra.

I'm loving everything about my car and tune right now so far.

Thanks for that have had a look .. http://www.elementtuning.com/Hydrami..._hydramist.htm

Was wondering if you have any pics of where you mounted the tank, pump ,flow gauge etc.

Being very new to all this would I be able to have the fail safe programmed into the ecu with an Ecutek tune or do I need something additional
to make it all work

I believe there are a number of safety features from both the meth system and whatever system you're tuning with. My Hydra pulls a bunch of timing if low/no meth is detected. Not sure about Ecutec.

Another outfit here, (Ptuning or P&L, not sure) offers a basically plug and play meth system with Ecutek.

I was in the same boat as you and ended up ordering the PTuning kit. I don't have any impressions on it since they haven't been formally released yet. I was told that mine ships tomorrow so I'll check back here when I get it

+1 on the kit for RHD cars with no access on E85 and ridiculously expensive race fuel that cost more than $100 per gallon

My Hydramist system IS an Aquamist, just controlled by the Hydra standalone instead of the Aquamist controller.

It has functioned perfectly.

Aquamist, controlled by Ecutek, I think would be just as good (meth-wise).

Have sent pics of RHD battery tray to ptuning so will see if it's possible to do a mirror image.

Thanks @sam69 for the pics of the RHD battery location. We've already started working on the mirror image of some of the components. Not all the components will be mirrored since the bottle with the level sensor will be the same bottle.

The pump mounting bracket was already designed to be mounted on either side of the vehicle underneath the front bumper beam mounting holes, so that's a few less components that will need to be designed.

Here's a picture of the WMI system (LHD on the left, and RHD on the right). Our only concern is whether or not toyoto made a mirror all the moutning hole locations for the stock battery--since our WMI tray uses all 4 mounting holes used by the oem battery.

It's going to take us about 3-4 weeks to get the first RHD test peaces built for fitment verification. But before we put anything into production, we would like to gauge real interest in the RHD version of our Pnp WaterMeth injection system.

If you're stuck with California crap 91 gas, especially if you are FI, the ONLY way you're going to see bigger power is with lower compression, or a meth system like the Aquamist.

I'm loving my Aquamist/Hydramist system. It has worked flawlessly, and has been good for a LOT of extra power.

Hey Mike would you be able to post pics of where you've mounted your water / meth container, pump etc in your car.
Would love to see how you have set yours up .
