Hi, please have a look at this ECUtek log file.

Your thoughts?

Might help if you give a few details about mods and what your looking for.

looks like LTFT disabled or amazingly good maf scaling as its always 0

AFR is also amazingly stable at 12.17

maybe log commanded AFR as well

yep most likely, hence would be nice to see commanded afr :-)

Its still 12.17 at 1000 rpm 0% throttle load 0.2 which seems a bit odd though

other weird thing is Fuel System Status is always 1

problem with 02 sensor heater ? or not providing correct exhaust temp info.

1= Warmup not up to temp
2=Closed Loop,
4=Open Loop or de-celeration fuel cut
8=Open Loop due to system failure

Injection system status seems fine

I found the problem. Closed loop map was AFR 7.91 for any reasons... I fixed that.

Can you guys tell me something about knock? IAM seems to be 1 but what about the other?

haha that will do it , looks like someone put in E85 AFR ?

Anyway for knock you want

IAM=1
Ignition correction fine =0
Knock correction ca =0

looks like no knock in that log above

Thank you Steve. What is the meaning of knock correction learn value and knock correction ca?

Can you tell me what parameters indicate knock in generall? Is it all to the IAM? If it stays at 1 my engine is healty?

Ignition Correction - Fine = FLKC
Knock Correction CA = FBKC

Those are the ones that show any knock retarded (or advanced) timing corrections.

So if I see FLKC the timing is beeing pulled and if I see FBKC timing is added?

What about the IAM? Why is it stayed 1 if the ECU detects knock? This is a bit weird for me.

So Knock correction learn value ca and knock correction ca are not that parameters what Im looking for?

Thank you all!

edit: so Im looking for ignition correction - fine / FLKC and knock correction CA / FBKC.
But whats that knock correction learn value ca ? Can I ignore that parameter?

FBKC will always be negative. FLKC is learnt knock retard and can only be positive when IAM is less than 1. There can be plenty of knock retard corretions without affecting the IAM, it depends on a number of factors if the IAM is going to reduce. Remember that the IAM is a multiplier for the Advance Ignition table, nothing else. Those 3 are the only ones worth logging IMO.

Ignition correction - course is the output of the Ignition Advance table and takes into account the IAM and any FLKC that is occurring.

So if the FLKC and IAM are 0/1 - there is no knock? I hope that I understand this correctly.

cheers from germany

And FBKC. To put it simply, FLKC corrections only occur under certain load and RPM ranges, FBKC corrections are made when FLKC is not active.

Ok, so FLKC, FBKC and IAM 0/0/1 = no knock.

But what does knock correction learn value calculated mean?

What affects the engine?

This is the values in the Knock correction Max A table if their is no knock.

The Knock correction Learn Value CA you see in logs is

Logged Knock Correction Learn Value CA = (Value in Knock correction Max A table at same rpm/load point * IAM) + FLKC

note is possible that flkc may be positive or negtive if iam is less than one but only negative if iam is 1

You dont rearly need to look at this is you have IAM, FLKC and FBKC available its much easier just to look at those to see knock that look at Knock correction Learned CA and do lots of calculations.

explained a bit more here
