I just adjusted my rebound a bit firmer today, front 10 clicks and rear 8 clicks and surprisingly it seems to ride better. I had kind of gotten annoyed with certain floaty feeling on certain undulations during my commute. Tightening up the rebound made it go away. I don't remember what setting i had before but it was whatever was in the RCE settings instructions for street use.

Also got rid of the floaty feeling i had been getting every once in a while on hard turns.

Finally installed mine with 7kg Swift Springs. Got a basic alignment so it's not dialed in to where I want the alignment to be but it already rides much better than the B8 + Tarmac Springs on the recommended street setting. Feels less harsh on the street and feels much more composed while cornering. The only hard part about the install was removing the front camber plates since I used my Raceseng Cascam. The shock nut had locktite on it so it took a bit of force to remove it and the strap wrench method did not work at all to hold the shaft from spinning. Had to put a socket on the top of the rod which was a bit worrying since I didn't know if it could handle the torque before breaking but it held. The torx bolt on the camber plate was also hard to remove and I almost stripped one trying to remove them.

KW instructions say 26ftlb for the front m12x1.25 nut but I couldn't get it to torque with a crowsfoot wrench and didn't want to risk snapping the top of the shaft. I just gave it a decent snug by hand. The nut I used kinda screwed in a bit tightly since there was some leftover loctite on the threads so it's been holding so far. It's 15ftlb for the rear shocks but since I used the vorshlag top mounts, I couldn't use two nuts to lock them together so I put a bit of loctite and torqued it to 15ftlb.

We do still have a few people waiting on their SS1's but we've stayed in touch and respond to emails as fast as they come in. Mix of covid19 supply chain delays and in the final stages fedex international also delaying sometimes.

Our apologies but we'll make good on it, we always do.

Happy to get the text Monday night that the coilovers showed up. Goes to show how wrong tracking numbers can be! Sorry it took so long.

Absolutely! Glad things worked out.

Give me some feedback on the 7k rear setup.

Will do, had some issues with the raceseng top mounts so i scrapped those and used oe mounts. should be able to finalize ride height and get an alignment sometime next week. car already feels a lot better in terms of ride quality and can definitely feel increase in compression stroke. car does not feel harsh and does not crash over bumps like my previous setup. This should translate to more grip on track hopefully. Have street rebound set to 12/14 clicks which seems to be a good sweet spot.

Sorry forgot to follow up! Huge shout out to Myles for going the extra distance on this one! It was an error from KW and no fault of Racecomp at all. Appreciate it, Myles!
Getting them installed tomorrow and very excited about that.

Got the car aligned yesterday. Was only able to max out the camber to 3.1 in the front with oe crash bolts maxed out at the knuckle and top hat. From recent tire temp data -3 was a pretty good starting point as it showed about a 10 degree delta from inside to outside. Rears were set to around -2.4 as that too showed good tire temps with a delta of 10 degrees from inside to outside from the previous track day. To keep things consist I have kept the alignment fairly similar to before but added some tiny bit of toe out in the front to help with turn in and slight toe in the rear. Excited to test these out on track this weekend and will follow up with some feedback.

I think that is as much camber as you can get with SS-1 on OEM crash bolts. I have that exact setup and I am very nearly maxed out at -2.7 in the front.
