Also in the category of irrelevant but impressive... the NIO EP9 with the electric car record of 6:45.90 (1.4 seconds faster than the Porsche). Technically I guess it's also a "production" model--they're making 6 of them and selling them to investors. [edit: it isn't the overall record--there are lots of faster competition cars around Nurburgring, and if the track weren't so bumpy a modern F1 car would probably get well below 6 minutes]
