It is definitely the cleanest of @Sasquachulator bad list.
Same here. My work laptop and my sim rig both run Win 11, no issues.

I don't have enough time to get good a PvP shooters so I've basically given them up unless it's a social event with friends or family.

Even when I gather with my sons (26 to 34) we prefer to play co-op versus PvP.

Game looks fun though.

Linux loaded up like a dream on my new NUC. The windows even do what I tell them and when.
TuxKart and Space Cadet Pinball work fine. Can even get Steam if that was a priority.
Over wrote the old laptop W10 and that all works like butter too. No Ragerts.

I'm horrible at shooters but this game is actually fun thanks to the different classes. It's also 3v3v3 so there's constantly third party action. The soundtrack/visuals/commentary are icing on the cake.

It's free which helps to make it worth a try.

I've been losing myself in the world of The Witcher 3 again. It's the kind of game where you can really sink your teeth into the lore and enjoy the depth of the side quests as much as the main storyline.
I'm also hooked on League of Legends. Every match is a new puzzle to solve, with so many champions and playstyles to choose from. And the community is active, and there's always something new happening, whether it's an event or a patch update. If you want to try this game, which I strongly advise, I recommend checking out https://lolscript.gg/blog/ first. It's packed with tutorials, champion reviews, and strategic advice that help new players to better understand the game at the beginning.

When my buddies can't get online for the finals, I've been wasting hours of my life in palworld. I'm not a pokemon fan but this game is a ton of mindless fun.

As I get older, I'm convinced it's just not possible to have that same high as a LAN party. The disconnection of not physically seeing someone changes the dynamic.

Same only it was Unreal Tournament and America’s Army. The photo shows two of the three “Beige Box Boys” our little LAN group.

My 3 sons and I still have a great time playing Halo, Risk of Rain, Gunfire Reborn, and a few others over the Internet when we can get together. I think part of that though is because even when they were home and we did it "LAN Party" style the PCs were spread throughout the house and not in the same room so we got used to playing that way.
