No grinding required. I have a kit on a 2018 TS already.

Apparently this won't be the year that I must smog my car. Now that the law has been changed from 6 years to 8 years, 2013 vehicles will need to smog their vehicles in 2021, except when transferring ownership and maybe other situations, I believe. This is good news, but I really hope they get a CARB tune for this car.

Are their no built harrop cars that aren't running the hks stroker kit? Low compression builds?

I recently did a couple pulls and I was a bit disappointed by the numbers, 259WHP and 207WTQ. 85mm pulley and ace 350 header only, everything else is stock. Tuned over the air by Zach at delicious. I will say this though the gains from stock 95mm pulley to 85mm pulley and header feel like you added the supercharger to stock again.

Those are good numbers if the rest of the exhaust system is stock IMO.

Those are normal numbers. The stock pulley is large. The 85mm is even larger than the Edelbrock kit’s stock pulley. 95mm to 85mm will have good gains but not as significant as the gains going from 95mm with E85 to 85mm with E85. Too bad Canadians don’t have access to E85.

I guess, maybe,

On another note, has anyone with a built motor pushed this kit with a higher boost pulley to say 20psi? If so then how did you handle first gear power or even second gear? I feel like sensitivity or modulation would be difficult with just the throttle, and of course there would be more power than what could be put to the ground. I know we have discussed using a boost controller to do boost by gear, but couldn't this be done easier via tuning. Someone could have different maps with a more aggressive map, but wouldn't it be easier to modulate the throttle via drive by wire. Couldn't someone program 1st gear to have say 50% throttle output for whatever is imputed, and 2nd could have 75% throttle output, and 3rd-6th could have 100%. Just something I was thinking about if I ever went with a built motor with a smaller pulley because 1st gear is already sensitive with an 85mm pulley.

Yes you could do that.
