careful of toxoplasmosis from all that cat piss, you might go crazy and wind up adopting two or six more cats.

I know I'm late, but the spray I used was made by wool lite. And worked on my office chairs. Spray, let sit. Soak with water, you will literally see the pee flow out of the fabric. Repeat until all gone. Let sun dry (the heat from the sun helps draw it out)

I just learned about that stuff! I must not succumb to their devious ways, I will prevail!

Nice, permanent solution: Find out the price on a rear seat (it was just the rear, right?) and ask the gf to pay for it

Cat pee inside won't come out

That stuff might have actually been still working yesterday. It said on the bottle that when the enzymes are working the smell will get worse before it gets better. The smell is pretty much gone. Smells a little funky but not so much like cat pee, and it's pretty darn mild. I might try vinigar and baking soda and water today.

Good news is my gf says she will happily pay to replace any parts that I can't get the smell out of so things are looking good 👍

Yeah, sorry OP but you will literally never get rid of that smell short of replacing anything and everything they peed on.

You may make it slightly less noticeable but in a super small enclosed space like a car interior that's going to sit outside in the hot sun on a regular basis that odor will keep coming back.

Save yourself the trouble and start shopping for replacement parts. If it's the rear seat then just remove them and make a custom seat delete. It's all dead wright anyways :P.

If it's the fronts, replace the drivers seat with a nice racing seat and remove the passenger seat, tell the GF she gets to ride in the trunk because her cat pissed all over your seats.

If all of the above, you have no choice, strip the interior out, throw in a roll cage and go racing.

Thanks for your suggestions @AlanLGuy. Luckily there is no pee on any of the seats. The one spot is on the left side of the floor right behind the passenger seat by the center council. I'm going to try the vinegar water and baking soda. If need be I could always get that carpet ripped out and replaced. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1405360755.095545.jpg

Too bad :P

I haven't had occasion to remove the carpet on the FR-S yet, but usually there are two layers, the topmost stain/wear resistant layer and then a carpet pad like you would find underneath the carpeting in your home. My bet is that the pad is the one that has soaked up the majority of the pee and I holding on to it.

You could try pulling up that section of carpet, but it would probably require removing the rear seat deck, the passenger seat and probably the center console. You might even be able to cut away the stained section of the carpet pad without it really being noticeable. That would be way easier than replacing the entire carpet which can be a PITA and get pricey

Cat pee inside won't come out

Just found a tiny spot on the passenger stray by the seat belt buckle. Hopfully I can fix that.

Just called toyota.
New passenger is 800
New carpet is 500

I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Good idea @AlanLGuy. I'll keep that in mind moving forward. The carpet is in such an inconspicuous spot I wouldn't mind trying to cut out the bad spot and replacing it that way

Have you tried any junk yards in your area to see if they have a wrecked one? In the DIY section there is a post for installing soundproofing throughout the whole car and he has pictures and text on how to remove pretty much the whole interior. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53511

Have you tried using ozone? if you're worried about the rest of your interior, take the affected part out, and get it treated w/ ozone. That'll destroy the smell.
