I don't see why you'd you pick Rival 1.5's.
I see it's going to be an occasional autocross car, but mostly a daily. You're much better with something that suits those needs like the Conti ECS or something. You'll still be plenty quick for autox, but just won't be up getting top PAX or something. If you want a 200TW tire that's cheaper, will give you basically the maximum autocross grip, it's the Falken RT660 this year. I also wouldn't recommend 18's at all. Tire costs are more. And the overall weight of the wheel/tire package ends up being heavier than it needs to be usually. Less comfortable ride on the roads too.

This set up is doing me just as i wanted. Not really to worried about the budget, more worried about the performance. I prefer the ride on 18s though I agree with you in regards to weight.
I did get RE-71s. Why such an aggressive tire? I plan to upgrade my powertrain considerably over this summer, also my daily driving is so limited the tread wear isnt a huge concern to me. Quote:
