My wife and son worked on the Christmas tree today. I must say, I like it too. So crowded with ornaments the kids made, gifts from friends, the couple that survived the kids being young, 20 year old candy canes. The tree is full of good memories.

It's the start of the holiday season. Whatever your flavor, hug the ones you love, and have a good season of cheer!

(like the one in the attached picture)

A teacher friend of mrs humfrz was giving it away. So my daughter and I took a battery and a tire pump over to his house, salvaged that puppy from his back 40 and drove it home. It had 5 speed floor shift transmission and a R20 (I think) engine. It was dirty white on the outside and dirty soggy blue on the inside.

I replaced the brakes, put on some new, cheap tires and replaced the plugs and points. Also, I Jiffy Lubed all the fluids. Plus, I gave her a case of cheap 30 weight oil and made her park it in a gravel area beside our driveway. Yep, she leaked some oil - about a quart a week.

My daughter completely gutted and re-did the interior.

Now, she was cherry - the car (and my daughter).

THE END

The one I had was used up until it wouldn't start about two weeks before I got it. It was rusty (remember when 6 year old cars could be rusted to the door handles?) but had a good interior and ran OK. Wasn't a field car or barn find or anything like that.
Oh and yes it leaked oil like all the imports did back then but at least didn't burn a quart a day like my wife's poor old field find B210 did.

The price of the kit doesn't look too bad, then you start adding tuning and other supporting mods and it goes up really quick. NA is better anyway

No. I've not heard of The Imitation Game before.
