Tire Blown - Recommended Tire Repair Shop?
Hey guys,
Was on my way home and decided to cruise around for a bit more but that was a mistake. During that extra bit of driving, I blew out my rear passenger tire. Made a leisurely left turn, then I hear a big tire pop, followed by air rushing out to a tire flapping sound. Immediately slowed down and pulled into a parking lot to the right) Got the donut on now. Examined my damaged tire to find a big piece of metal sticking pretty far out. I'm hoping the tire can be patched/plugged. But now I'm worried it might be deep enough to damage the rim. What do you guys think? Also, wondering if anybody can recommended a good tire repair shop in GTA? (Was thinking just taking it to Tires23, where I bought them) Thanks, Chris

Tire Blown - Recommended Tire Repair Shop?
If you have warranty still on the tires it could be covered.
I go to a place called SpeedTech its a place owned by one guy that does great work for a good price. I had a tire puncture with a bolt before and he fixed it for $20 which is kinda pricy if you know how to do it yourself. He located at 63 silverstar blvd in scarborough. That puncture you have is pretty intense so i dunno if it can be fixed but any tire shop/ mechanic shop (including canadian tire) can fix them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not sure how the tire warranty can cover that (it won't cover road hazards, that's usually with the new car on OEM tires). Even if Michelin would cover something with warranty, they usually just offer 50% off the MSRP of the new replacements (won't save much since most tire places already sell below MSRP).
I personally goto Wheels Direct (they are a direct Michelin dealer). I hope your Enkei rim is okay. |

I forgot to mention if you goto Wheels Direct, just look for Colin (owner) or Kelvin (sales dude) and they will take care of you.
