'13 BRZ Auto - Jerky when turning from a dead stop

Just something I've noticed a lot since I got this car about 5 months ago.
I asked the dealer about it and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about.

If I'm totally stopped and turning right or left, as soon as I hit the gas it kinda jerks like the rear wheels are posi or something, fighting to go at different speeds or slipping a little on the pavement. It's consistent. Normal driving mode. The more I gun it the worse it is.

I've adjusted my driving to try and minimize it by trying to start out more strait or just slower on the pedal.

I'm just wondering if this is inherent with the RWD design or if it might actually be problem.

Sounds like the Torsen diff locking up.

If so, its fairly normal and been reported many times on here.

the only thing similar i've noticed is an occasional harder shift from 1-2 when starting from a stop and turning, in both sport and normal modes.
