Can you get your tuner / shop to look at it? I'd trust the experts.

I guess it'll be like buying a second hand car... Check for abnormal wear where you can see it (and check it hasn't been opened up - bolts/scratch marks etc. some clown locally here opened his up and destroyed the laminova core!)

Thank you sir! any tips for taking it off? I want to send one in for a rebuild and am trying to figure out if its as easy as I think it would be.. have you ever taken off the side with the pulley? If you have anymore pictures Ill take as many as I can get. preferably the underside of the blower, and the TB and pulley side as well. Aaroncim@gmail.com is my email if it makes it easier. |

Is anybody running a 335 on a stock motor?
What are peoples thoughts on running a downtuned 335 on an otherwise stock engine? I would imagine since your running the 335 at a relatively low workload that it should be relatively safe compared to a 210. Would there just be too much torque? please I need all the insight I can get. I've found a really good deal on a 335 but I only want as much power as an intercooler 210 would provide. |

I have running 335 on the stock motor with an 85mm pulley. I only have 3k miles on the supercharge and 72k on the car. The tune is from moto east and runs e85. The fuel and exhaust system has also been upgraded to support the 335. The car is also an auto.
The car is a lot more fun but the stock tires wont stop screaming. I do plan on building up the motor in a few years unless it lets go before that. |

Based on my spread sheet I linked earlier, upgrading the 70mm 210 kit to the 85mm 335 kit will give you about 45 more whp or so. This is running off the stock engine, before upgrading internals. There is a lot more left in the 335 supercharger and could go much smaller on the pulley than the 85mm. 210 to 335 is about $2600 before the money you'll get back from selling the 210 back to whoever, so it's not a bad deal considering what you can do later with the 335 vs not being able to go any further with the 210.
If I didn't already have one and was looking to buy one new, I'd get the 335+ kit for the small amount more compared to the 210.
