THAT OR THIS?
For all of you that were gun shy and didn't order the armrest from Sutty, you really missed out. He is NO LONGER producing them and I got one of the last few he had made. So you could have had that:
But now you're stuck with this: For all those that cried about screws and drilling holes back when someone else tried to design one through Toyota, now you're going to jump on screwing it in and drilling your console, I think you missed the boat. Sutty's drops in place and lifts right out if you want to try and use the useless cupholders. And it works awesome....... |

I too much prefer the factory one. Not sure what the point of this thread is other than to say "look what I got and you cant have!"...
no one cares man. If there is enough want for Suttys armrest someone else will eventually produce a similar one. |

No, it's just that everyone bitched that they did not want to screw it into the console and now it seems that the tune has changed since it's a 'factory' one. No big deal.....

OP is 100% right, EVERYONE(ok, more like 80% of those who commented on posts related to armrest options) balked at the idea of having to drill holes. It was quite pathetic actually. Now everyone is OEM or JDM'ing it up like they never complained in the first place.

Seriously though, this is like saying, "doesn't it make you made that you could have had a more attractive (in whatever way) girlfriend." Now didn't that sound stupid.
People didn't want that armrest. What does it matter to you? I personally think the factory one looks better, plus it is going to look exactly like it came with the car.

at the end of the day, everybody that bought either of these paid nearly $200 for an armrest. nobody wins.

In case you didn't know, there are other armrests available. I bought a nice one from @Sportsguy83 that totally covers the cavity in the console.

I like the factory one but it wasn't quite available when I got mine from Sutty. Sutty's armrest is great. I really enjoy it and although it might be a little more "ghetto" removing it, it leaves no footprint and is simple. I actually never take it off. I use it as an armrest. Occasionally I'll store something underneath. It's really top quality, I'm a very happy customer.
