This is the first prototype I have come up with. It is real carbon fibre (I tried my hardest to find the Toyota T Carbon style pattern like the rest of the car but so far can't find anything). The centre section is stainless steel and is all waterjet cut by myself. The engraving has been waterjet too but it's not 100% perfect so I may go down the proper machine engraving route. The plaque isn't actually screwed to the car as I didn't want to leave any marks although each piece is screwed together using stainless bolts. I may decide to use double sided velcro to keep it in place but after a 600 mile trip on country roads it didn't make a sound or move a mm. Sorry about the dust on it in the picture but you get the idea. If anyone else would like me to make one for your car let me know and I could price it up. What do you guys think? Cool or Lame?
This is really cool, I wouldn't mind getting one that has "scion FRS" instead of Toyota ft86. Only because I want it to match.

I hit a wall today. going around a corner not doing anything wrong and there went the rearend due to sand/oil in the corner. no mechanical damage to tell yet and some minor body damage to the front corner. All 3 days before 86 fest.

At the Orange County Auto show, they had AT FR-S. I was curious, so I test drove it. At the very end there is a wide traffic circle but is one way. So I had a bit of fun and drove her hard around the turn, got a bit sideways, and made the tires squeal. The guy who was with me did not expect that. Also they had a camera guy taking pictures, and he was snapping pictures as I was going around. Man I have to admit, the auto is very good. Almost makes me wish I got an auto.

Just drove my baby up the ortega.

Have to say, I'm absolutely in love with this car now! I was having second thoughts about my purchase (was looking at more expensive cars - 370z and mustang gt, and ended up settling with this one), but now I'm just ecstatic. I'm so happy I bought this car, and I have to say there really is no "lack of power" like I've convinced myself there is. Going up the twisties, at least

This car just loves those canyon roads!

Here's a pic if anybody is curious... maybe 2 miles from my house, I'm a lucky guy

Me too although i would want Scion FR-S or just the 86 logo a little bigger. It doesn't have to have the pistons either i would like just the round 86 part in it with the serial number.
