The car in the "smiley" pic is washed-out, overexposed, and flattened due to camera settings (to pick up the human face in shade?) and omnidirectional lighting. Shouldn't really be compared alongside an outdoor pic after sunset... To *me*, it looks a lot more like it could be WRB (new iteration of WRB perhaps) and not at all like the paler/flatter Neptune Blue...

I’d get Halo White. I miss my old ‘90 Miata in white and while I’m not some JDM purist, white is the mostest Japanese car color. And it just ages nicely.

I got to check out both blues in the flesh if I'm going for a 2nd gen. Blue is one of those colours that can look ridiculously different depending on the lighting especially the darker blues.

The Trueno blue is going to be the question mark. I saw a post showing a possible Trueno blue on another site, that GR86 was a dark blue looking like from the pictures to be similar to Oceanic. Not a confirmation though and could be some pre-production colour that won't make it.

On this car I believe I'd be ok with Neptune. Although if a WRB option was available for Toyota(which I think is the only thing Subaru refuses to give Toyota) I would 100% pick that. I also like the Supra's Refraction blue.

I'm guessing the Trueno Blue is darker than Neptune, currently leaning towards Neptune. Neptune looks really great on GT86, not sure how it's gonna look on GR.

Will still have to see all the colors in person but now after watching all the release videos (over & over since there's nothing else out there) the Halo White is in the running.

Might just be a polarized filter used by the cameraman.
