Not really much of a fight. He talked some shit to a member saying they must be a "class D" hpde driver since they thought that you didn't need BBK for track. He then touted his experience as a Porsche Experience Center instructor in Atlanta as his reasoning ignoring all other fact and evidence. I am mostly just messing with him but also don't want people to think they need to drop over 2K on brakes just to be able to drive on track. That is BS and he hasn't a clue what he is talking about.

WTF kind of insult is that anyway.

TILTL.... what possible useful purpose mosquitos serve in the grand scheme of things.

TILTL how mosquitos can so unerringly and SOoo quickly find your veins? I just got in from walking and playing with the dog, got swarmed so bad I couldn't take it any more. Long pants, heavy cotton T shirt with highish collar. Only thing exposed was my face, hands, and elbows/forearms. I keep in CONSTANT motion, swiping my neck, face, and arms all of the time... and still got bit probably twenty times. One even bit me on the lip, and I can't practice trumpet for the next hour or so until the swelling abates. If I haven't contracted West Nile or triple E by the now, I never will.

I HATE mosquitos.

TILTL How a place with only 14 people (less managers) cant tell when the 24/7 desk doesn't have coverage.
Leaving me (one of the few people who is not cleared for OT) stuck on the desk past their already 10 hour shift.
Then none of the managers answer their phones.....

TILTL how to reliably sharpen kitchen knives using stones and oil. I've turned too many decent edges into butter knives. I don't even bother anymore and take them to a local vendor and he knocks them out in a few minutes each using two stones, food grade oil, and a lot of wrist action developed from 50 years of experience. I don't have any better luck with a honing rod either.

I’m working on this since I’d like to make some knifes. My plumber is really good at it. I am going to have him teach me.

Sharpening and honing are two different things. Sharpening removes material to make a sharp edge, while honing straightens out the edge material that is there.

I use a whetstone kit that you just have to soak in water for a bit and it's good to go. No oil necessary. You should be able to find one online at least.
