Bilstein B6 and B8 explained

Would a rear wing have any reduced benefit with the B6/B8s for track? Or better to pair with coilovers?

Sachs weren't great for me. Stock, they were unduly harsh over bumps, classic too-much-high-speed-damping. Felt racy/go-karty in test-drives, but not the way good trackworthy damping works. When I got Swift springs, which lowered the car more than expected, in concert with Raceseng camber plates which lowered the front even more, about 35mm total, the front Sachs struts were just unbearable, with zero front bump travel. Anyway I have a set I would sell for a lot less than used Bilsteins. Because they aren't *nearly* as good, on the street or at the track. Not even close...

This has been pretty much my exact experience with PP shocks, TRD springs, and Raceseng camber plates. It's been pretty tiring to drive on Midwest roads, especially after moving to Detroit. All your posts have get me heavily considering throwing some B6s on. Will see how soon I'm ready to pull the trigger, and whether or not SS1s come back in stock soon...

Going to Bilsteins was transformative for my car. *WAY* more front bump travel, went from unliveable to being an absolute pleasure to drive on the street and at the track.

No issues really, though with real downforce you'd want stiffer springs.

I installed before a month the B6 with the STI aftermarket springs from the STI suspension package (https://www.sti.jp/en/parts/subarubr.../ST20330AS010/) and I could say they work much better than anything else I have tried except the Ohlins R&T coilovers!
