Issues with direct injector seals, 2017 model

I've had my Toyota 86 (2017) for around 2 years now, and it has ~15k miles on it. In February (~3k miles ago) i had a jackson racing supercharger installed and due to it being a 2017 had to go with a custom tune.

Almost a month ago i suddenly got some cylinder 1 misfires and pops/clangs/knocking noises from the engine. Had a shop start fixing it and turns out the DI seal on cylinder 1 was complete destroyed, and the coil pack was also damaged. The other DI seals were also in bad shape and all were replaced. However the shop said the Direct Injector seals WILL continue to fail and that these injectors compression seals are not designed for the temperatures it's seeing with boost. The suggested maybe richen up the fuel mixture and try and cool down the charge. I talked with the tuner and he has not seen this problem before in boosted or unboosted ft86 he has worked on. I will be providing him logs from some pulls so he can see if some adjustments can be made, but based on his attitude it does not seem like some tune tweaks are going to give me any noticeable reliability increase.

Have any of you (either boosted or not) had issues with your seals, and were you able to find a long term solution?
