JDL Shipping Snafu

So today I received a package from fedex. I was excited because I have been waiting on my catted headers since early march. When I saw the package I thought, my god this is an awfully small box for headers. So I began to worry. After picking up the box I heard a small metallic thump. My worries became greater...I went ahead and opened the box and behold............................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .........





i got someone else's order!!! In the box is a catted and resonated front pipe and overpipe. The invoice # for that order is 590 and is labeled on the shipping box. My order is #600. So whoever is #590, i got your stuff. My headers were possibly shipped out to you in error. So if you're reading this and you received catted uel headers that YOU DID NOT ORDER, please don't assume the header fairy sent you a nice shinny new catted uel header for shits n giggles -(lol)- PLEASE do not install them and contact Jesse right away so he can send you a shipping label. If you are order #590 contact me for confirmation of what you ordered and so that I have an idea of who to send it to once i get the label from Jesse. I know shit happens and mistakes are made, but I'm pretty sure NO ONE likes to order something and not get what they ordered especially when you have to wait a while to get it. Thanks.

The shipping label from JDL will have it being shipped back to them, not to the intended recipient. They've almost certainly sent the other customer an email or shipping label to return their order as well.

I had already contacted JDL prior to posting this and they will rectify the situation. I'm just simply posting that I got someone else's order and if you happen to get headers that you did not order to please contact Jesse because they are probably mine. The box should be labeled with number 600 on it. Communication is key in getting this sorted and i'm only trying to spread the word to minimize wait times for me and whoever else's order I have. In no way am I bad mouthing JDL. Shit happens.

Your right! I don't know if they are on this forum or not, and I had contacted JDL prior to posting this. I'm just trying to bring focus to whoever placed an order with JDL in the hopes that they see this message in case JDL has not been able to contact them for whatever reason.

your most likely not bringing any "focus" to whoever placed an order with JDL. the only focus your getting is, why didn't you go tell JDL and keep it at that, no need to post on a public forum that JDL accidently sent you the wrong item.

Man, you guys are harsh...the OP stated in the 1st post that Jesse at JDL had been contacted, and is aware of the mistake. It's not out of line to think that the other order has gone to someone who may be on this forum. There are a lot of twins owners here. The OP was just putting it out there...if someone else got a surprise in their box, contact Jesse at JDL. Too simple. OP is not a retard, and was not bashing JDL.
