I am hoping that being a catted header, it will be able to pass smog properly in California. I am very interested in the header, but don't want to have to swap headers back to OEM come time for a smog checlk. Hope FT86SpeedFactory does a group buy on these.

Thank you!! Awesome!

Could you please make another video with a Catback-System, OEM overpipe and frontpipe? That would be great to hear!

Great Job, can't wait to have it in my GT86 in Germany!!! ;-) The UEL Header gives the car it's 'Boxer rumble' that it deserves from factory!

I've definitely got my eye on this header now. I am fine purchasing a header without tune if the CEL remains off. Of course I'd love to hear it on a full 2.5in Perrin headerback setup since I have one but I imagine I will have to wait for someone to purchase it before me and then post up a sound clip. I dont imagine you guys just have test exhausts sitting around for you to play with.

I would imagine this header would sound sweet with a fairly tame catback (perrin resonated, q300, etc.)

It got cut from the video, but we were chatting in the car about quiet set-ups.

My ideal daily driver choice ended up with our UEL, Motiv Overpipe, Catted Motiv Front Pipe, stock exhaust and Perrin 4" slash cut tips on it.

Wish we had more systems here to play around with. V1 and V2 are up next and I think a Perrin we have around here somewhere.

Q300 is just a notch above stock... so I'd say pretty good for a DD as well.

Beautiful! Just what I am lookin for... incognito, ninja, low pro stylz.

We must think alike lol.... I was thinking almost the exact same set-up: your catted uel header + tomei op + tomei fp (uncatted fp obviously) + stock exhaust. Wanting to upgrade the op and fp (while leaving the stock oem catback exhaust) because the oem op and fp (especially the fp) looks very restrictive and 1 cat on the header is good enough imo to keep the rasp noise down and also kill the stinky exhaust fumes (gotta have at least 1 cat for a DD...unless you like hanging out in public smelling like gasoline lol (my teacher told me this once haha)). Uncatted header and uncatted full header back systems are prolly the best of course for flow; but again, for a DD, you really need at least 1 cat in the system to keep the smell down.

Please update us when/if you will make a video with your aforesaid "dd choice/setup" of uel catted header + aftermarket op + aftermarket fp (can you do both a catted and non-catted fp clips?) + stock oem catback exhaust.

Nice job again.

peace

Agree. I'd love to see what this sounds like with a Q300 or a Perrin Resonated 2.5

Any ideas how an invidia n1 cat back plus this Uel would sound? Similar to the tomei set up in first video ?
