Wheels and tires we're put on yesterday. Loving every bit of it. Looks amazing. The ride quality wasn't compromised at all. Steering feels a bit heavier as expected but doesn't take any fun away from driving. I haven't driven the car hard since they've been put on but lock to lock there is no rubbing standing still or at normal city speeds which is all I'll ever be doing so I'm completely satisfied.

I will be dropping the car in the future but everything fits nicely on stock suspension. If you have any questions let me know.

Well. As promised. Wheels made it on the car before Christmas. Proper shots will be taken this weekend or next. Busy at work trying to catch up

Up next are suspension, rear trunk lip spoiler, front and side lips. After that. I'll have to see what else I want to modify. Maybe toms tail lights still. We'll see. Open to discussion and suggestions. Thanks all. Merry Christmas!

The wheels look great but it still needs more low! I don't think you are dropped on the springs though so that'll definitely give ya the stance. Have you thought about getting a Perrin intake tube and drop in filter?

Thank you very much! I love them. Definitely needs to be lowered. But in California I can't lower it too much. I wouldn't be able to get onto my street from the main road in town.

Oh right. Forgot about those. I was thinkin perrin crank pulley and full perrin CAI.

As far as lowering goes, its definitely high on the list, probably the next thing I do. I need help deciding what I need. It's still stock height and I was just talking to a coworker about that actually. He said I need to drop it before we leave work haha. I really want to just bite the bullet and get coils but I need to do a lot more research. Spring upgrades just sound like the easy way out and won't give me any adjustability. I'm trying to stay as far away from tein, br bc, and Megan's as I can. Everyone keeps telling me to get kwv3s but I'm not sure I need all of that adjustability. I just want it to ride nice(maybe better than stock if that's possible) and still handle like a slot car and be able to dial in the ride height. That being said I do like the sound of the KW but I don't much care for the price tag. I'll do it though if it's what I need.

Not sure if you knew but if you get a cai you'll need to get a tune to get the full benefit so if a tune isn't in your immediate plans then the intake tube and drop in filter will be you best bet. A intake tube and drop in filter should yield you a few hp up top and of course with no tune necessary. Later down the road if you get the cai and a tune then you'll just connect it with your intake tube.

Didn't know. I was planning on getting the inlet hose with the CAI. A tune isn't "required" is it? The ad says it won't throw cel. I put a CAI on my evo and I never got it tuned. It ran like a champ. Pretty significant increase in hp on the evo too. Makes me wonder how much better it would have been with a tune. I can't justify a few extra hp to lose my warranty though. If I do get a tune it will be after my warranty is up. Unless there's a way to flash it back to factory any time I need to for free at home.

I would imagine a CAI without a tune would be just as good if not better than an inlet tube and drop in filter without a tune. The perrin CAI is placed better for cooler air intake and therefore more power.

No you don't need a tune if you get a cai I was just saying that you wont see its full potential. The stock air box is well designed.

I've definitely heard that the stock airbox is well designed. Thanks for reminding me. These upgrades are all "down the road" upgrades. So we'll see as I want to get coils next I think. I don't know what I need wth coils. Most people have LCAs but ionno what those do or if I even need them. And if stock top hats will work or not. Maybe some front and side lips and a rear defuser.

ST coils or splurge a bit and get rce Tarmac 0s or kwv3s? My car will never see a race track. Ever

Finally decided on ST coilovers. Cant wait until they get here! SPC LCAs will help me correct the camber and it should be looking mighty nice in a couple weeks!

With all of the money I saved on coilovers, thinking of grabbing a few other things from my list as well.

I plan on baking the headlights so I might as well get a proper HID retrofit as well.

Also, TOMS or Smoked Valenti tail lights?
