Dam-it, due to my piss poor parking technique this morning I curbed my front passenger side wheel......

So now, stock replacement seems silly to do......it I want to run 235 or 245 17" tires what rim width / offset do I need for wheels?

Well, Since spending $100ish on getting it refinished/repaired doesn't seem like an acceptable option, I wouldn't run anything smaller than an 8" wheel given that you want 235-245 tires.

Repairing is a viable option, if I liked the stock wheel design ( I don't )......

What about wheel offset on stock suspension height and 17 X 8 wheels......?

Yes I have and found the overly confusing wheel chart, I want to really here from people who have done it and do not have rubbing issues.

Do you have any plans for the suspension right now?

You can have any type of offset from 47mm-33mm on a 17x8 wheel with either a 235 or 245 tire size. There's a very nice wheel chart in the wheel section (believe it's the second sticky thread in wheel section). You can do lots of research just within that section...... I can help ya read the chart. Just need to read what the stars mean for each chart and if it's confusing, just click each star within the chart and read the peoples specs cause all the stars are within the chart are hyperlinks to others builds threads

Just found that, with 245 40 17 a 17 X 8 with 45 offset seems like the best choice........I see the "users" had 9 inch wide but that too me looks to wide in the overlay

235's seem too tall at 45 aspect ratio and too small at 40 aspect ratio diameter wise......

So now I just have to find the "right wheel" in 17 X 8, and then I will have some 215 45 17 Bridgstones on factory wheels (one damaged wheel) for sale

Dose he have the XXR's?

And his is why the internet sux.....

If I go here http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7535 the perfect wheel is 17 X 8 with a 38 mm offset.....the link to the wheel tire combo http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9547 looks right to me, and even though the OP states the factory tires look "stretched" and I agree with that, at least I can wear out those tires before spending money on the 245's

Go here http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15007 and it looks like 17 X 8 with 45 mm offset is the right choice, according to the calculator / users fitment........

But I got to look at how bad I really damaged the wheel at lunch, it looks like I can smooth it out myself for now......

If you are gonna run a square set-up man I would find a offset that's in between 33-38 offset that will pretty much flush the whole car @IceFyre13th

If anyone wants to see 245/35's on 18 X 8.75 thats what I am running
If you are really picky the fronts poke just a touch but its hardly noticable
