I have read discussions both ways so I wasn't sure of the final results. Thanks.

You'll have the best comparison results.
Guessing it's basically like the speed but with AWD. It'll be able to put the power down better but the weight will still hold it back in the cornering aspect.

In full STX trim maybe more competitive in the pro solo's but not really dominate anywhere unless it can shed some serious weight.

Expect it to be tougher to beat at a Pro (assuming things don't blow up) and also course dependent. I hear the ringland issues are still around, so if any do get built, expect them to end up in SM within a couple of years. See STU for proof, even though the GR STi is a competitive car.

Even on the new 2.0L in the WRX?

You are correct it could be a winner.

The STAC will be monitoring it's performance and could be bumped out at any time to another class due to the new car classing 1 year rule.

Do you mean frontpipe including the cat? I've been thinking how it would be, doing just header and keeping the rest of the exhaust stock

Doh, I'm stupid. Was thinking of the new STi. That's right, new 2.0L WRX has the FA. Nevermind, nothing to see here.

With all the OFTs floating around nowadays, is there any easy way to tell if the competition is running e85?

I'm not really looking to raise a fuss over it or anything ... but I don't wanna be the only one *not* running e85 if the local competition is.

You can smell it if you're standing close by.

Yea, it's illegal in STX. There was people last year admitting they ran it anyway...
I'm capable of running e85 but wasn't planning on it. I just dont wanna be the only 1 NOT running it if other people are.

I heard someone say that a lot of the guys were still using it. I don't have e85 near me and from what I've heard 93 octane can make just as much power (N/A) and we have that at practically every gas station.
