You made so much sense that after searching for some time (many places sold out, others gouging) have your setup on the way new from Logitech.

I was happy for years with the MS FF stick. It always reminded my of my solo in a J-3 Cub. But FS 2020 looks to be another world I used to justify getting the most out of it.

I'll miss the force feedback but think the other features will compensate.

Yep!!!

I'm looking forward to the playoff between Nvidia and AMD this time round. I think it's going to be an interesting time. I can't remember the last time AMD was a contender.

Having said that I'm not even sure I need a new card. My GTX1080Ti still seems to be doing an adequate job. Then again, I've talked myself into less justifiable purchases before.

Also, I'm not totally convinced of the visual advantage of ray tracing.

Correction: I did prebuy it, completely forgot (it was a gift). I have it through Steam though and it won't be available there until the 18th.

I'm going to start the 150 Gb+ download at 9:00PM tonight. I'll try at 6:00 PDT, the email wasn't clear whether it's local time, Eastern or what, but it said the 17th, maybe a benefit for buying the Premium Deluxe package direct from Xbox.

Got the new yoke, throttle and pedal setup ready to go. It's going to be an epic evening.

That was pretty much my experience, although I wasn't aware of any refund period (must be talking about Steam's return policy).

This is what I was greated with when I started it last evening. Even with a 1Gb connection, it was going to take longer than I wanted to sit there. Guess I'll see what it looks like tonight.

Took an hour for me to DL/Unpack the files.
Also doing it though the MS store and game pass.

Better than paying full retail i you aren't sure of the game.
