245 or 255 A052’s? Which are you using? It looks like they run pretty wide and the 255 may be a tiny bit pinched?

The weird thing is the 255 is cheaper than the 245.

I wouldn't run the 255 on anything less than 9.5"

On a '15, probably 245. Unless you want the extra tire diameter

I got 245s. They look pretty damned wide...

I bought a set of 255s for my s13 which has 9.5" wheels and I bet they're gonna be a little pinched.

maybe he lives in a world where tire roll over is unaffected by tire to rim ratios?

is there a consensus on 255 vs 245 on a 17x9 wheel?

Yes. Generally, people run a 245. Many people tried 255s over the years, and it wasn't faster.

I actually ran a 255 Yokohama A052 last year at Nationals, because it was all I could get at that time. It wasn't terrible. I'm using a 245 Yokohama this year.

On 17 x 9 RPF1s, I measured the mounted section width of my 245 RE-71R and compared it to the Yokohama 245 A052. They were the same.

I know they are not the tire to have, but has anyone tried SUR4G? Let me know if you have any feedback or psi reference.

i know if you can find em they are good. accessibility makes them hard. down here in the socal area its easier to find the federals for the cheap grippy tires. If i had to tier them id place em above the feds, and v720s only in sheer grip, they are loud and thrashy and turn in isnt as sensitive as say your rivals or 71rs.
