The Hyatt, nice hotel.

Welcome reception, they had cool light projectors

our wristbands and VIP lounge pass for Formula Drift

Friday morning, getting on the buses

Arrival at Scion HQ

They pulled a LFA around quick and revved it. awesome.

Me and Jack!

At the museum, 4 FR-S's to drive, two autos and two manuals, everyone got to drive. A short course around the block, we had some fun, also there were some iQ's we drove, some iQ drag racing ensued

from what i saw, everyone had smiles on their faces after driving the FR-S.

inside the museum

Headed over to the FormulaD qualifiers at about 4 pm

Maclaren just hanging out

Martin with the ladies

Scion FR-S booth

I found a lady too :happy0180:

Me with Scion drivers Ken Gushi, Fredric Aasbo, and Tony Angelo, some cool dudes.

LOTS of SWAG.

Scion VIP lounge at FormulaD

Roadster lined up with other Scions

86ers swapping pics/videos Saturday night

AWESOME event, Scion was great, and talking with Jack Hollis and the other 86ers was fantastic.

Everyone loved driving the FR-S, everyone who drove it was impressed with the smooth automatic, the interior is nice, steering wheel is comfortable, quick acceleration, had a few people try drifts, but they forgot to turn of traction control :broken heart: i have yet to talk to someone who didn't love driving the car, we all want to drive it more. thats what the FR-S does..leaves you wanting more.

Judging from that crowd, the average age of the FR-S buyer will be way north of 25, should be good for insurance rates!

Thanks for the pics! I was hoping somebody would do this for us. I've actually been to the Long Beach Grand Prix before. It was awesome.
