Unstable feeling

Hey guys just installed my spc rear lcas and out of the gate the car felt more twitchy. I havent gotten my alignment yet, due on Friday, but could my current rear alignment be the cause of this?

On my way to work today i noticed the car to be unstable on the freeway (left to right sway). And on a left sweeper, thats usually very stable under heavy acceleration, was throwing the TC light throughout the turn. I was feeling the TC working too.

Right now the front camber is -1.5 w/ 0 toe.The rear camber, i would guess, is around -1, w/ toe looking to be ever-so slightly OUT on both but more so on the left.

Does my troubles sound alignment related?

Thanks!

Toe out in the rear would make the car unstable especially if its uneven. Most RWD cars have slight toe in the rear from the factory to keep things stable

Right on, thanks for confirming my suspicion.

If anyone else has anything to add or different to say please feel free.

Alignment will fix that symptom for sure.

I run 0.05 toe in on the rear. Tried 0.0 and it increased snap over steer

It made the rear more responsive to driver inputs. Your inputs are making it oversteer more.

We run 0 toe in the rear on our shop car. That being said, I wouldn't recommend 0 rear toe unless you're comfortable with the rear being loose; 0.05 total toe-in is a good number for the rear.

Definitely toe out. Had some wonky toe when I put my struts and LCAs on; car tried to kill me a few times before the alignment a few days later.

When I redid my suspension traction control would activate on just about any turn at any spirited speed AND on long sweepers with steady throttle input; it was definitely a toe-out issue. The FR-S should have a touch more toe-in than the BRZ from the factory, based on reports from other members.

I didnt find my previous setting to be a problem. -1.5 in the front and -2.5 w/ 0 toe all around. It was extremely stable, too a bit it break it loose.

Thinking about going -1.5 front and -1 rear w/ 0 toe all around.

I suspect it'll still be stable but easier to break, right?
