What a shame. The incredible stupidity it takes to drive drunk, knows no end.

That is minor damage, would not total a car off up here

but then again, our insurance system in Saskatchewan is vastly different than your most likely state only collection of small private business and a few national auto insurer and various levels of policy coverage.

I'm not sure what they'll do. It obviously looks worse to me. Either way, I get to fight with an adjuster at some point.

Appraisal is complete. Shop doesn't think it is totaled. Anyone like to guess at the estimate to repair? $11,441. (Shop claims $18k was the limit) Shop let me look at it torn down and walked me through what they planned to do. Agreed to replace my Eibach Prokit spring, but they didn't think it was damaged and will re-install the camber bolt I just put in the weekend before this. Damage didn't reach frame rail or engine. Did mess up a wiring harness that by itself is $1800 to replace. The other down side to it all. Parts. Minimum 4 weeks to get them.

Back in the game...sort of

Got my car back after a month in the shop. Mostly done, but there are a couple of issues remaining.

1. The clear side markers I had have not come in yet. They'll replace them when they do.

2. I have a noise when I even think about turning the wheel to the left from straight. That will go back in when the side markers come in.

The rest are super picky things that I will point out later when i take it back in. For the most part, I think they did a decent job. And once I get the small details out of the way, I'll resume mods.

Thanks, I'm happy with the work the shop did. They went out of their way to make me happy. They are replacing the clear side markers I had installed, but they're back-ordered and we are waiting on them to arrive.

I just ordered the Whiteline Positive Shift piece to give that a try, and ordered the parts to install the foglights from the DIY thread. After that, I've been working on getting it tinted, but seem to never to get around to it.

Still thinking about wheels, tires, or both. I am one of those that doesn't mind the look of the wheels, but wish they were wider. So, I have to figure out how important that is to me. If I can live with the width, I'll just get better tires.

Once I get a few more things finished I'll take more/better pictures.

Is it just me or is the front bumper misaligned?

I guess I'm not sure what you mean. Are you speaking of the side shot and the gap appear a little larger toward the wheel versus toward the front? I think part of that is the camera, and part of it is the side marker which i don't think was fully seated when I took the photo. I haven't worried all that much about the side markers because they will be replaced when they come off backorder. I haven't noticed anything glaring in person, and i looked it over pretty well.

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. The hood line looked off to me, too, but that could be because of the panel gap between the fender and bumper.

Updates

Thought it time to update photos post-accident, post upgrades.

New tires, LED turn signals, Switchbacks in front, strut tower bar, unichip, BRZ Homelink mirror, tint, Nameless exhaust (might have previously posted this), and fog lights.
