5. Sound, unresonated Perrin is raspy as hell. Resonated is okay, but the Nameless rocks it in sound so far with the stock midpipe.
I love my exhaust. Funny note, while I was getting it installed a WRB BRZ pulled up with a perrin exhaust. I asked him about it and he said he was returning it for some issue that I do not recall. I just remember thinking to myself that my BRZ already has been through enough issues, and I'm glad I won't have to add my exhaust to that list. Weee

Did you get the entire system installed with 2 stands and a low profile jack? Saw the note about having to raise the engine a bit on the passenger side mount. Kind of planning it out since I don't have the stands yet or the jack.

I have the same system installed and completed the install with only jack stands. No regrets, this system is fantastic. I can't speak to the others as I haven't heard one in person.

Never installed an exhaust myself but since there's no welding, it looks pretty straightforward with the clamps. I might get a jack and stands and do it myself since a shop will probably charge 100-200 bucks just to attach everything.

The trickiest part is getting the overpipe out, which as you know requires you to lift the engine on that side a couple of inches. Also, for the overpipe, it might not hurt to have an extra set of hands to hold one end while you get into place. That being said, I did it by myself and did fine getting it into place. I don't think it took me over an hour to do. Of course, this depends on whatever experience you have working on cars. It is not difficult, just looks menacing.

Good luck.

Jack stands are inexpensive at Harbor Freight if you have one nearby.

Awesome man, thanks for the advice. If you get headers on with that system, you need to post sound clips! I've been dying to hear a Nameless system with some different headers. I did enjoy Tainen's one on the dyno and outside drivebys, but I'd like to see some other ones!

It was a little tricky until the guys at the shop realized they had to lift the engine to install the overpipe/frontpipe piece. If you're going to do it yourself I would recommend having an extra set of hands available. Good luck!

You can get the overpipe our without lifting the engine. You have to completely remove the heatshields from the over pipe and do some fancy twisting while backing up the pipe into the space above near the transmission then pull it out twisting some more moving the pipe forward out the front at the connection to the header. I was able to do it by myself with the car up on 4 jackstands. But an extra pair of hands would have made it much easier and i wouldn't have banged various things with a big metal pipe as much.

Well, I'd only have my set of hands and space is limited where I can work on it. I might have someone install it locally and just inform them about raising the engine up to mount it. Sounds like it would be a fun install as long as I had the work space to do it.

There's no need to compare. They've already won by a landslide because Perrin isn't making a header.

What I want to see are headerback comparisons. For me, the headers are irrelevant as I am looking into turbocharging.
