You live in CALGARY and people don't know how to drive in winter? Lol, if they don't know there, where do they?!

I learned to drive in NC and even I know the "rocking" trick. Also FWD is far from ideal when you're going up a hill. Though there was one time, on a short road, that I drove up it in reverse because that was the only way I had enough traction (weight transfer onto the wheels beats transfer off).

Yup its true lol.
I was born here and there has been no improvement in driving behaviour. You would think living here for many years you should know all the quirks of some of the badly constructed roads and winter weather patterns but nope....same old shit every year lol.

-People who think they're high and mighty in their AWD vehicles....gets stuck
-People who think they can drive in winter like they do in summer...and accidents happen
-People are surprised that random winter patterns happen all the way until May and they get caught swapping to summer tires too early.
-Accidents happen on our major roadway because people like taking last minute turnoffs and/or dont know how to use a merge lane and cause accidents (partly due to badly constructed roads, partly due to idiots who dont know how to adapt to the badly constructed roads) and NEVER think ahead.

Happens every year and every year im surprised that no one learns lol.

I heard you liked a limited car with limited availability, so we got an even more limited edition so that you can't get that one either.

Honestly I'd rather have the Circuit Edition. If I wanted a 2 seat Toyota sports vehicle (car?) give me the GR86, not something that looks practical but actually isn't.

Also the comment about weight better mean 100 lb lighter than the Core (base) model. Because if its 100 lb lighter than the Circuit, and you do some backwards addition you end up with the Circuit weighing almost 3400 lb, and I could be mistaken but I thought it had been announced at weighing around 3250 lb. Someone correct me if wrong. (I know the article says Circuit - I hope that's an error).

It might be somewhat hidden or not very well mentioned, but part of the weight savings of the morizo edition was apparently doing a rear seat delete.
So the thing is only a 2 seater

But within limits the limited number of the extra limited version will increase the available limit on the other limited cars by it's limited 200 limited editions.

What’s weird is during the announcement Mike Tripp said it will continue after the 23 model year but is limited to 200. Lol

Motortrend writers got the chance to ride shotgun with Ryan Tuerck and Jhonnattan Castro on both Circuit and Morizo editions.

The article more or less just repeats what everyone has been saying after being able to test drive it. What I found interesting was the updated guesstimate of MT regarding the base price. 40-50K. Which is not too surprising, but a little concerning. I still wonder if Toyota will apply a no re-sell clause or warn dealerships about markups. Definitely not getting my hands on it on 2022-23. 2024 is looking slightly better but time will only tell. Best case scenario I can snag a returned lease later down the road like I did the BRZ.

There's no way a base Core will start at $40k+. I found Doug D's comments on price a little interesting. In his video he said Toyota folks implied to him that the price will be very competitive. Problem is, if they mean competitive vs. a Golf R, then $40k is technically competitive!

"Price will be competitive" is a throw-away term for "yea, we can't tell you the price now, and we aren't going to tell you what it will be competitive with, but we'll tell you later and you won't be happy"
