Going for an OEM+ DD build. Planning to keep the car forever as my "last hurrah" manual-gasoline powered car.

So far, the essentials:
18x8 RPF1s
Indy 500s (winters on for now)
HKS Hipermax S coilovers
Whiteline front end-links
Comp RS Catback
OEM STI trim (front, side, rear)
STI start button
STI center caps
LED upgrade all around
Raceseng shift knob
Clear side markers
Clutch spring delete
Tint

To-do:
Higher temp brake fluid and pads
Spoiler of some kind
Rear LCAs
Motor and trans mounts

Maybe someday:
AP sprint kit with two-piece rotors
E85 tune
Maybe an intake if dyno proven
Carbon driveshaft

Outside of product testing (which keeps us super busy these days), our shop cars usually end up as sort of a "clubsport" build. Suspension focused and track oriented but still very streetable.

Right now our 2022 BRZ has RCE Tarmac 2 coilovers, Endless brake pads, couple of bushings, and the STI JDM exhaust. More to come, possibly some Recaros.

My 2016 is a step more on the daily drive-able and weekend trip-able side of things. If our 2022 is a GT3 mine is more of a GTS...at least that's the idea. Keeping it quiet and a little more comfortable.

But again there's a lot of product testing going on with both cars and local partners, so some of that changes. My car is on a prototype coilover at the moment and the 2022 will get something similar soon too. I was installing and uninstalling suspension set ups probably monthly in 2021 on my car.

How is the JDM STI muffler? Enough as a stand-alone exhaust mod to get a satisfying noise? I’ve been debating it vs. waiting on the more tame aftermarket options to show for the FA24 (Greddy SP, Q300).

Easily the best looking exhaust in our opinion, and definitely on the quieter side. Still breaking in though.

Out of curiosity, which bushings? What was the replacement?

We have the Whiteline rear adjustable upper control arm bushings installed as well as the STI toe arm and rear lower control arm, which both have nice sealed pillowballs.

could take a look at hks legamax premium. Looks to be about the same in terms of noise and size, but the tips are ever so slightly bigger and burnt . I think it's a few hundred cheaper too. Been contemplating getting one as well... But that sti price tag

Unfortunately delayed until April. I'll definitely post a write-up.
