Random useful recomendations for the 86
Was thinking it would be nice to have a thread with good recomendations for the 86 for a quick read if you dont want a full thread on it... Pls add and contribute anything that fellow 86ers may find useful.
Like if you plan to hoon, get some mudflaps it really saves your paint on the sides. Lots of subies use rally armor, i think it looks pretty cool on a brz, never seen an frs with it yet but havent really seen that many other 86 maybe 7 so far. Not sure how the factory frs mudflaps are but i am sure the rally armor saves my paint from extreme dmg. B4 buying from a vendor check to see if it is instock unless you dont mind waiting for months. Made my own knee pad for the part of the center console that your knee rests on. I was tired of coming back from autox with a sore right knee. Bought some household undercarpet lining foam in a nice plain grey color, cut to fit, velcro on. Its not pretty, but its ugly. Total cost..about 32cents and 15min of my time. I'll put up pics latter.

If you changing sidemarkers it should take barely any force or else you doing something wrong, and try not to flex the bumper too much cause the paint will crack and you will get spider webs under the clearcoat.
