I think only about 10% of the 86'ers around here acknowledge your presence, even if it is just a stare. I try to give a wave or exaggerated head nod. Maybe we're just more adept at spotting each other than the average owner.

I do get a good amount of positive attention from other import enthusiasts though, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

I think he said he's got 255? Or 265s in the rear. So I think that's why he has the carbon fiber rear flare..He's got Authentic TE37s all around..coilovers..carbon fiber front lip, side skirt and rear diffuser..exhaust..who knows what else!!

A little camber and adjusting would have probably fit it...I have 255 on a 18x9.5 that doesn't rub....I guess it all flows with all the carbon

There are a few locals I see quite often in the Hunt Valley area - usually on shawan/york rd - a white BRZ (Always parked next to a bank), 2 or 3 different red FRS's, silver BRZ (someone at ZeniMax?), WRB BRZ.

There's also a dark gray or asphalt brz/frs that I occasionally see out of the corner of my eye on 24 near Bel Air.

There were also quite a few on campus when I was taking classes at UMBC. I talked to one of the owners - he head a White BRZ and only said something along the lines of "I needed a car and liked this one so I got it". So there's that.

That's a terrible reason for buying a car. I've ran into a few people now
who could care less about why they got the 86/BRZ. Go for an econobox if
you don't care.

Everyone has a different reason for "caring" though. I didn't get mine to track it or because of the handling. I got it because I absolutely love the look, the vast amount of upgrades that are available, pricing, rwd, 2 door, sleek, etc.

Yeah, all good reasons to purchase a vehicle. But I'm pretty sure some have the FR-S purely for looks, or because of a commercial or something. Can't wrap
my head around purchasing a vehicle for no reason at all.

Not to add to the off topic-ness but I fear there are more people who will never really appreciate HOW WELL the FRS actually handles. I will be auto x & aiming for 1 track day this year and CANNOT wait!!!

Hahaha. Yeah there's far more stock than modded. As I sit here waiting for my windows to get tinted now, lol! I wave at everyone I see and so many people just look angry and never wave back.

how much is a tint job going for us? I'm considering.

I think most of the people that we see on the road are buttholes, like most of the ppl in this area. Hence the non-pleased faces.
