Help?!? Maybe..Ecutek tune

So I am not sure if I should be worried or not, but when i go from around 3-4500 there is a hard rattle like metal on metal. 2 things happened the day it started got tuned and 7500 oil change @ Toyota. Now my first thought was retards left something loose well I checked and everything was good took it all off and drove but it's still there. I thought "no way it could be the tune" so i flashed to stock and its gone...or at least 90 percent gone. Only mod I have is an fa20club intake. Anyone seen this before?

Who did you get a tune through? Logs taken while it's happening? Sound like something hitting the frame, or something else?

Sounds like something hitting the frame. Checked the intake that was my first thought took it off and checked and there were no rub marks or anything were it could hit. Gonna take the heat shield off the stock header next i think...fa20club tune and logs were sent in while it was doing that..and i should tell tony now that it goes away mostly with the stock tune

I know the first few tunes from Toni can be a little rough - definitely let him know and give him what you have so he can get back to you - since you have the stock file I'd flash back to that for the time being - I had to do the same thing with the first few revisions I got, just for safety's sake.

Just as a side note, I have had the metal on metal sound, but not with the stock header - started happening with my current setup until I adjusted - the overpipe runs very close to the cross member so if you get the car's engine to move enough they can touch, just an fyi.

I think I found...there is part of the heat shield near the overpipe and i can move it with ease(up down left right and a clamping motion). Still don't know why its more noticeble with the tune tho...

Here is a pic of the part i am talking about

it's more noticeable with tune due to engine harmonics being changed at that given RPM with Toni's tune. I had the same thing happen in the same RPM range. I stuck some black foam tape stuff to my aluminum underpanel, thinking that was what was rattling, and it is completely gone now. Though that could really just be from taking it off, and putting it back on, made it shift slightly so that it wouldn't touch the heat shield anymore.
