2023 BRZ fitment - APEX ARC-8

Hey all,

I have a 2023 BRZ that is bone stock and is just my daily driver. I'm loving APEX's ARC-8 and want to put them on my car. I'm assuming the 17x9 +42 fitment is the best? I want to do zero modification in terms of spacers, fender, camber, ride height, etc. - basically I want a bolt on fit with no issues - is this possible with those wheels and 235/40/17 Advan Fleva V701?

Thanks!

The wheels were made to be near perfect fitment at this size. It'll be great. On stock suspension, they fit my car well but my 245/45 tires were close to stock spring perches, 235/40 should be great

Thanks for your input - do you know if it's any different on the 2nd gens? I've heard the fitment choices are worse and I don't want to order them based on info from the first gens.

Very good point. This is from the Apex website for the 17x9 ARC-8

    • Front & Rear: 17x9" ET42
      • Available in: ARC-8
      • These wheels typically do not require any spacer. However, if additional negative camber has been dialed in at the knuckle, a 5mm front spacer may be needed.
      • Depending on tire size/model and how negative camber is achieved, shaving the inner lip on the rear quarter panel may be required

On stock suspension, the rear clearance will be fine with a 235 section tire. The only issue I’d worry about is the front clearance on the spring perch, however if you are not adding camber via camber bolts then it shouldn’t be a problem.

I run ARC-8s on my GR86 with no spacers, however I do have coilovers and some other suspension modifications.

No issues with those wheels and 235/40/17 tires. You’ll have about 9 mm clearance to the front sprint perch on stock camber on a tire like the gt radial champiro sx2. A little bit of poke.
