Looking at post from couple of days ago again, IMO this is *not* new-tire greasiness or squirminess. I would guess one or both of the rear toe links is loose, or loose enough to cause rear toe-in to shift in a big way.

I'm still super-curious about the "broken lug nut" comment. For one thing, how do you break a lug nut?! I've never heard of that anyway. Stripped or broken wheelstud maybe? That happens. But he wouldn't be able to quote you for a fix? And meanwhile you have all 5 lug nuts confirmed as properly installed on both rears?

What the hell was broken and was it fixed or not?

@ZDan,

I was giving a play by play conversation and missing important pieces maybe. The supervisor/manager had a technician struggle when installing my 1 lug nut out of the 5. He approached me with the problem single lug nut in hand saying. "Hey I just want to inform you this lug nut is not going on the vehicle and after examining we believe the prior person who worked on this vehicle damaged it." I asked for it to not be installed so I could examine it or repair on my own. He refused that stating policy says they have to put it back on the car and they believe they will be able to get it on enough for it to hold. He then mentioned he could write me up a quote but could not install it same day I would need to come back. He ran back into the garage area after that.

When the technician was driving my car back around. I walked out and I showed my receipt and asked for my Key Fob, Lock Nut, and the copy of the alignment. I inquired with him about the problem lug nut and he walked me over to the right side (passenger side). He said he wasn't the one that worked on it but the guy that was working on it had a weak gun and couldn't get it on. But he didn't have a problems. <--= contradicting imo

I then took it home Saturday experience the problem on parkway. Sunday morning I took the tires off to see if maybe the lug nut issue was the cause of the car acting crazy at 58+ and checked the lug nut. I didn't see anything out of the normal.

I have now driven 209 Miles and problem still persists but I haven't done much of what was suggestion outside of lowering tire pressure back to the 30 psi. I visually inspected and tugged on different pieces but I cant seem to see what is rubbing.

I have not had a call back from them yet but I intend to stop by today to see if we can come to a resolution. I agree with your thought about this not being a tire issue. I just do not know what to look for on the tie rod for problem.

@ZionsWrath You are absolutely right, I actually finally got my safety sticker so I have all the time in the world. I personally think the Kumho tires are perfectly fine for what I need I am by no means a reckless person at least not anymore . I have been rolling around happy on my bald Michelin Primacy HP tires they worked fine for me. I imagined if bald dry rooted tires satisfied me that much then any new tire will appease the demand I need or request at least that was my thought. I don't think the tires are the problem but I don't know for sure.

@Racecomp Engineering Thanks for the information Andrew I took your recommendation to lower the psi. I don't know how to check the rear tie rod but I haven't researched so thats on me. I am trying to come to an agreement with parties involved I just feel I paid for a service that I got half of. I got new tires but my car is not normal to me. I don't think theres anything wrong with the Pep Boys brand but this is an experience that isn't favorable for the future. All in all thanks for the feedback.

So, today I got everything resolved but this is an update.

I had slowly developed a crooked steering wheel and the issue of traction control slowly went away as the steering wheel got more and more crooked. I got the car to 60 mph and tried to reproduce the issue and car was bouncy but couldn't get traction control light to come on granted I rotated the new tires to the front and the old tires to the rear (may have contributed to it working out). I didn't try anything aggressive, just same bendy road I recorded the video on.

Heres an image of my steering wheel. Date 5/23/2019

Another image of the steering wheel. Date 5/22/2019

What happened today (5/27/19)?

I got a phone call saying the tires had arrived and are ready to be installed. I get there and see the same mechanic/tire tech and sales representative showed them the video of the issues and my steering wheel not being straight. I hand over my keys and wheel lock nut and wait in the lobby. I meet the store manager and explain the issues driving wise. Suggests the same brand tires and just installing an additional two. I agree with the suggestion as long as it resolves the problems. Roughly an hour wait and everything is done. Store manager tells me to take his business card and if any issues his master tech can try and resolve at a later date. I get 10% discount and shake hands and leave. I tried re producing the issues and nothing. Car feels a bit spongy in comparison to before but all is well.

I want to thank everyone on this forum for the assistance through this also.
