The coating on my rexspeed polarized mirrors have failed. I don't really want to go back to normal mirrors now so I may give OLM a try next to see if i have better luck.

They should (but not shall) be oriented horizontally to combat horizontal reflection of light off of surfaces. I've had some that are different and not quite level as well (usually something cheap in my experience), but most of the time they should be horizontally polarized. I get reminded once in a while when I rotate my phone to landscape for taking pictures and wonder why the hell the camera screen hasn't popped up yet.

Was yesterday, but got to go on track at Lime Rock Park for a few parade laps during the lunch break at the Trans Am race. We were told to keep it under 60, but also told to keep up with the pace car, and he apparently wanted to put his foot down on the main straight, so....officially we did not exceed 60mph lol. Always fun to get on a legit track, even if it's not in anger.

Grainy Sasquatch/UFO style photographic evidence to follow...

WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FRS TODAY?

Put in a thermostatic sandwich plate and changed the oil.

Keep an eye on those banjo fittings. I would drill holes in them and safety them!

No I safetied mine when I installed it. But there have been reports of them coming loose. Also in aviation there is not a banjo fitting that is not safetied. look at the direction you torque the nuts in. As the engine flexes back and fourth it puts a strain on the hoses in the exact same axis as you loosing torque. If torque correct you will probably have no issues, it just is not worth the chance for me.

Finally got the plug connectors for the headlights in and started the process of creating a plug and play harness for the intec fender garnish turn signals.

I wasted a connector by accident when I couldn't remove the female end I installed. For whatever reason, the male ends are very easy to remove with a small tool but the female ends... not so much.

And like everything else in life... you can tell which was the first one and which was the second LOL
