In addition to what has been said...
1) Craigslist and local salvage yards. Don't know why you are targeting IS300, but I will throw in that our cars are affordable and many inexperienced drivers total them out... I bought a used differential from a totaled BRZ that had 17K miles on it for $125 from a salvage yard...

I've only had luck on eBay, I made an account on Lexus forums to hunt because they want the 4.1, but they and eBay marketplace have wised up to the desirability and have jacked up prices.
