I'm in no rush but that Megan one is real cheap and looks easy enough to adapt a bar that would clear if needed. At least that's where my head goes on that.

I pulled my engine this weekend to replace the transmission already (I strongly recommend power reduction on shifts if you have a turbo build lol) and removed that bracket from my firewall. Previously I just bent it flat but its much nicer removed and wiring rerouted.
This is what concerns me. I plan to keep the power in the 350-375whp 250-275wtq range until I can finish nursing school, which is what I previously had, and then I'll do a BMW tranny swap, or if the new transmission is decently cheap and proven slightly stronger then I'll do that for a while longer. I promised the wife a house upgrade after I get a job as a nurse before any big projects.

Is that just the angle of the picture, or are the AC lines and rear water neck really touching? I had bought some heat shrink wrap, and I planned on dissecting some hose and covering the aluminum lines and then heat shrinking them, so the AC lines were black and not so obvious.

That would be awesome if the Blitz fits, I have a blitz Widebody on the car so some extra blitz pieces would go great on it.

Weird, my oil pan drain has plenty of clearance. Sure there isn't a user error here?

I tried looking at the video to compare drain placement on mine. It looks like I might have the same issue, but haven't test fit to check. I went ahead and hammered a little extra clearance just in case though.

I wonder if there is a difference in pan construction or in where the mount bolts all line up.

The question for me is why this spot? Does the drain line up with the oil change opening? It is the lowest part of the pan? Is it off to the side instead of the bottom for ground clearance or undertray clearance issues? What?

From what I recall in earlier posts about the drain placement, it was so you could use the stock opening.

I know in the instructions they tell you to move the engine/trans as far to the left as possible. Judging by the video of how close the trans is to the sway bar I don't believe it's a fore and aft problem either.

Luckily I tightened my bolt before installing the pan. Kpower sent me an email and said they went through and checked all the pans at the shop and none of them are welded at the corner of the pan like mine. He is sending me a slim drain bolt to try. Unfortunately if it isn’t here by Thursday then I won’t be testing it until maybe March when I change the oil. If you feel like your drain is as far towards the corner as possible maybe have Kpower send you this bolt. Here is a link to it.
