i dont mind it. but than again i also dont think the Z3 coupe looked bad either.

indeed, imo if it doesn't at least add some additional headroom for the rear occupants and a worthwhile amount of additional cargo then it would be pretty pointless..but i would take such a package with the existing drivetrain

I wouldn't care if it was slower...but you're right, it ain't happening either way.

while this is off topic, i'm not sure why you think the twins are going away. besides a handful of their really special cars like the 2000gt & lfa, toyota has typically done a good job at creating multiple generations for each of their sports cars. even the scion tc got 2 generations despite its sales tanking after the recession. plus, i thought both companies confirmed they were down for at least 1 more gen.

As far as this, it replaces neither, I just like the way it looks in concept but since its an aftermarket I wouldn't want it. Because it's aftermarket it still has that look of being tacked on.

There is a long history of this with the 'Vette in the aftermarket. Do a search for "corvette station wagon" and you'll see one for just about every model about C3 onward. Some of them I'm sure @stevesnj would classify even worse than "hideous X 2".

Heh - I guess I am a little late to the game, but I just saw this. Now I have to figure out how to unsee what looks like a Prius forcing itself on an 86. Bloody ugly!

Reminds me of the Volvo sports car.

I suppose it could have its niche, but I think it would be a lot smaller than the niche this car already has, and that one isn't all that big.

I can get my bass and a small amp into mine, that's all I need. If I needed to carry more, I'd not drive a sports car.
