Some pics of the Harrop SC waiting, patiently. I have some plans to do some custom water pipes on the kit to clean up the look, and I sanded the "Supercharger" logo to make it pop a little.

Here are some pics of the rear of the car lit up. I realized most don't know or have this third brake light, so I wanted to capture some pics of that.

Here is a wide angle showing all the gauges. I can see all of them when driving like the pic.

Nice man, I always wanted to sand that, but was afraid to chip the powder coat. Looks like you just need to go through with a small brush to clean out the sanding dust between the letters

It wasn’t too hard. I just taped off some areas to be safe. And true, I need to clean it, eventually.

I bought a few items over the last week.

--I bought a used ECUTEK cable and dongle off a forum member. I also confirmed that I will need to upgrade the MAP sensor to run the 85mm (11.5 psi) pulley. DT has a 10 psi sensor, and they have a 4 bar sensor, which is the one I will need to buy.

--I got a pair of universal catch cans off Amazon from K-Motor. They seem to be nice quality, and they came with a lot of features for a good price.

--I bought the WRX PCV valve and a one way check valve. Hopefully this isn't overkill, but I'm going to install both.

--The wife and I went to a pick-n-pull and found some water pipes. I plan to make a custom setup for the water pipes on the Harrop kit to make for a cleaner look.

--I bought a lightweight 11lb Braille battery. The plan is to make a custom battery tray and tuck the battery in the corner, so there is plenty of room for the water pump, which I will be relocating to a spot near the battery.

As of right now, USPS lost my package (it was out for delivery but was never delivered) so I just lost $240 in an used ECUTEK. This is life, which sometimes sucks. It definitely will delay me from getting this supercharger installed.

USPS is completely awful. I try whenever possible not to get things shipped through them.. Hope it works out. Was the package insured at least?

They are actually the best for where I live. I forgot to ask for insurance so it is my bad. Priority Mail comes with $50 insurance so that is all I get to claim.

I installed the 11lb Braille battery. I was able to use the factory equipment for mounting the battery and for mounting the Harrop water pump. Again, the plan is to run the pipes down the rear of the engine for a cleaner look. I'll post some pics, so you can see the placement.

For the battery, I cut the stock tray to size then I drilled a hole in the bracket and mounted the pump to that bracket. I cut off part of the bracket, so it would be easier to screw in the bolt, and because I didn't need the clip location that is used to mount the sound tube. Then I positioned the battery. For the tie down, I cut the stock piece and welded it together, sanded then spay painted the piece. After, I drilled some holes in the body for the J-hook bolts. Instead of buying a longer one to match the long bolt, I simply welded a similar OD bolt to the existing one, so it was equal length.

And here it is finished:

The car fired right up. There are no issues so far. The holds seem to be rock solid, which is good. And there is so much more room back there now!

Update:

-Received a cable and dongle (2nd times a charm)
-Purchased a DT Harrop Tune and License
-Purchased new OEM spark plugs

I prepared the water pipes for welding. Some of them I was able to weld before the install, but the rest I will have to wait until the manifold is on the engine, so I can fab the appropriate length. I made a bracket too to mount the water pipes.

I'll attach some pics of the progress soon once I finish these first pipes.
