Might as well, it's not like that car needs a VIN or registration. He's a sponsored driver, give him a car to hack up that doesn't have paperwork.

to the best of my knowledge, all 200 pre production test cars had VINs.

^^^^^Firstly, I don't understand a word of Japanese but I gather the guy did a 2JZ swap making him a big gear head hero then he absolutely demolished a set of tires for the video.

The previous post showing what appears to be a track optimized Supra also proudly displays HKS on the hood. So, for those that have the coin I predict there will be a 400- 500 HP Supra sooner than later.

The way my FR-S is modded I am better to maintain what I have than look to trade to a Supra. It's without the luxury aspect, but my car has similar fundamentals but also lighter weight. And minor improvements are a lot cheaper than a trade.

There's definitely a place for both cars in their own right. I don't see one as a direct replacement for the other.

I suppose not in a world where many people have the space and means to own multiple cars. Two is enough for me, plus my wife's. In fact I have only had more than one car since 2012 when I took shipment of my FR-S. It has it's challenges sometimes, especially driveway juggling.

You missed my point. It's not about space. The FRS suits your needs more than the Supra. For others the Supra is better. You said you don't want a Supra because it doesn't offer the low weight of the FRS. It's not a direct replacement so it doesn't appeal to you.

The weight has been known for a long time now, so this isn't a newsflash.

Neither are the looks or the collaboration with BMW and using a BMW sourced I-6. It's been years in the making and imbeciles are freaking out all over the net cuz the car is exactly what we were told it would be, lol. People are dumb and if they don't like it they should stfu and buy their stupid mustang or whatever fat cow alternative gets their rocks off. 90% of all the complainers on the net have probably never owned or would own a Toyota and probably drive a Silverado or F-150.

5% of the rest of the whiners expect the Supra to be a direct competitor with the GTR so they can not spend the $100k they don't have on a car they never could afford anyway.
