Me too. Just numerically dyslexic I guess.

Any thoughts on steering wheel covers? My car's wheel is slippery so I wonder if it'd be worth getting a cover for it.

Cover like the fuzzy types (pic below) or one of those where you sew it up? You could always get an aftermarket one while retaining the airbag or get it customized with alcantara or leather.

Definitely a pink leopard print.......Not. Haha.

But probably the same kind of idea. Just the edge part that you hold onto. Maybe alcantara or something else with some more grip.

I'd suggest that you just use 409 or something like that to clean off whatever slimy stuff is coating your steering wheel. You may need to follow up with an antibiotic soap, depending where your hands were when you got them all "sticky".

Next, lather and scrub your hands with Lava soap, followed by an alcohol rinse then use a mild antibacterial soap.

There ya go ..........

Driving gloves. Seriously, they help a lot. Recommend something ventilated and without fingertips.

Yeah I would try cleaning it first like humfrz said. Or maybe it's your hands then get some lotion. I don't like covers personally. I would rather have a replacement steering wheel or get it customized with alcantara from somewhere like SWEIDIT. I don't think alcantara would be good for my use though. Maybe one day when I retire the car and save it only for weekends and track days.

This. Clean your wheel, and then clean your smarmy jam hands and stop driving after eating poutine.

Maybe the 17 steering wheel material is different, but I've never found my 13 wheel to be in any way slick or slippery.

It gets pretty slippery and nasty if your palms sweat while driving. Yes I do have that problem. Got a pair of leather driving gloves and now the steering wheel is fine, if the inside of the gloves do get a bit damp. Alternatively I found winter glove liners to be effective, but a bit bulky and lacking in grip.
