Takes a certain person

Id just like to say i think it takes a certain person to appreciate the frs/brz.

I came from owning two mk6 gti's one was stage 2 and one was stage 3. Both fast as hell but it was lacking something. Now i own my frs and although its not as fast it has more character that i feel only some people apprectiate and dont understand

My car has been in the shop for the past two days getting a new fuel pump and and the idle dip fixed and i was using my uncles 2010 gt500. Although it has headers straight pipes 2.8 kenne bell supercharger and makes 698rwhp, it feels heavy. At high speeds the car feels like its off the ground, i cant turn for shit and it just feels like a boat. That being said the shelby is still my most favorite car in the world especially his cause its insanely fast and gets compliments and looks all day.

THAT BEING SAID. I still rather drive my frs everyday over that just cause the frs has a lot more then any car can offer and i think only a few people can understand what im trying to explain

I approve of your post OP.

When I drive other cars now, they all feel like they have been injected with varying doses of Novacaine. Numb and disconnected.

Of course I mean run-of-the-mill cars, not high-end sports or supercars.

I've always said owning a frs will change your perspective on how a car should perform and respond

agreed 100%. If its not for you, that's fine, but don't bash the car for being slow. It just doesn't need 800hp to be fun. Hell it doesn't even need 300.

Don't listen to @wheelhaus.

I agree with these posts.

And if you can't enjoy a twin at stock power, adding power still won't be enough for you.

Is this a back handed compliment? Are you saying the twins are run of the mill cars?

It's a car designed by Japanese and (probably, you never know) for Japanese. I am Asian so I can definitely appreciate the work (because we tend to be smaller in size ). However we live in a world where products are sold worldwide, and faced different point of view from different culture. This car received far better reviews in Asia than it did in the states, because again, its a small car, its nimble, and you don't have many big wide straight roads in Asia. I can understand that people in the states will compare the car to Mustang, but that's not the right question to ask in Asia because people know they are two completely different things and were designed for different purposes.

Touché... I knew some was gonna chime in with something like this! I'm at 5500ft altitude so I don't even know what the 86 is supposed to feel like. That said, adding grip makes the car shine, even with the 20% power I don't have access to. I'm adding a hypocritical SC in the not too terribly distant future for shits and giggles. Oh well.
