1.6k for fog lights, nicer dials, heated seats, leather, push start, and a less than pretty spoiler.
Not for me. -Leather is nice, but unnecessary. -Fog lights really don't aid in the fog. -I've never got in my car and immediately wished for my ass to be warm. -Nice dials are just that; nice but unnecessary. -Push start is the same as turn-key, it's literally one motion and to me, turn-start is more mechanically pleasing to do. Just my opinion, like errrrybody else.

http://www.roadandtrack.com/tests/co...ac-ats-premium. The base was around $35K but the sticker was over $50K after options which included special paint, heated seats, nav, hids, and push button start (included in the BRZ Limited). Sure there many additional toys, but I've never been in the market for a $50K car. Yes, I can justify and afford an additional $1600 for those luxuries in the BRZ but there comes a point...where no matter what the car offers (Porsche Boxster or Cayman for example), I'm out, not a player, can't justify the expense, can't afford or justify the maintenance, repair, taxes...Need for a second car, whatever that costs extra. For me, there is no cross shopping and I doubt there are "low-mile" used models (with warranty) that come close to the price of the BRZ and deliver the fun. It's been said over and over, so it doesn't need to be repeated, but this car provides an incredible amount of engineering, technology, and value to those who really want a first rate sports car that offers this performance to price ratio. $1600 doesn't change that equation for me. |

I saw a white BRZ Limited AT at the dealer yesterday and they wanted $34k OTD for it, 8 miles on the odometer no test drive allowed. I walked across the street and Acura dealer offered me $32k OTD for a 2013 tsx + technology package. Two completely different cars that shouldn't be compared, but makes you think

If you don't want to get the limited then you just doubled your cars with the FR-S now in the mix - look at all the options and how easier it will be to find now. Woot!

I would wait until there are allot of cars on the market or see if you can negotiate.
You don't need that crappy radio or GPS. Get it without one, then put an aftermarket unit in. Worse case have the dealer put in an after market unit and give you credit for the piece of crap in the car. That's one of the major draw backs of the fully loaded model. |

How am I looking at it the wrong way when all of those were my opinions? They aren't universal truths, clearly, judging by how much you like your Limited.
How can someone's opinion on their OWN preference be wrong? It's like me saying, "I like mayonnaise on my ham and cheese." and then you saying, "No, Tom, you're wrong because I like mustard on it."

If you are truly racing, you wouldn't need more than one key.

I was in the same situation and I sprung for a Limited.
Why? those leather alcantara seats look and feel great. The climate control knobs and switches look great and (saved the best for last) KEYLESS ENTRY. Just walk up to your car and pull the door handle or the trunk and it just opens. Seeing the car unlock and the inside light up when you just walk up to it without touching a single button just looks too cool and functional to give up. |

I already posted a few pages back, but to keep it simple I went with the premium simply because it was already expensive enough for me :P
